The Hotel Reding is in a privileged position in the tourist, historical and commercial centre of the city.  It is surrounded by all the main attractions, like the Ramblas and Plaza Catalunya.  It is an ideal location, with a great quantity of shops and services.  Nearby, you can also find the Barcelona Trade Fair and the main cinemas and theatres of the city.

It is situated in the centre of Barcelona, in a quiet street with little traffic, only 100 metros from the famous Ramblas, Plaza Catalunya, MACBA, Plaza Universidad and the Gothic Quarter.

HOW TO GET TO THE HOTEL

By car

  • From the SOUTH: Take the A-7 (E-15) motorway, and then the A-16 (C-32) until you reach the city of Barcelona.  Take the ring road, Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes, until Plaza Universidad.  Once there, turn right into Calle Pelayo, and take the first street on the right.
  • From the NORTH: Take the A7 (E-15) motorway until you reach the city of Barcelona.  You will enter the city by Avenida Meridiana which you follow until it reaches Calle Balmes.  Go down Calle Balmes until Ronda Universidad, turn right and then take the first left which is Calle Pelayo. Once in Calle Pelayo, take the first on the right.

By train

There is a local train from the airport Terminal A to the city centre.  Trains run every 30 minutes and the journey time is 20 minutes.  The nearest station to the hotel is Passeig de Gracia.

Aero-bus

Bus A-1 takes you from the airport to the city centre.  It leaves every 15 minutes and the journey takes 35 minutes.  The nearest stop is in Plaza Universidad, 2 minutes from the hotel.

By taxi

A taxi service runs all day from all terminals, the journey takes about 30 – 35 minutes and the fare is approximately 30 euros.

If you arrive from Girona Airport (Costa Brava):

Bus:The Barcelona Bus Company provides a bus service from Girona Airport to Estacion del Nord bus station in Barcelona.  From there you can take a taxi or the underground Line 1 to Plaza Universidad.

Nearest Underground stations:

  • Stop: Universidad, Line 2 (purple) and Line 1 (red), 70 metres from the Hotel.
  • Stop: Catalunya, Line 3 (green) and Line 1 (red), 150 metres from the Hotel.
